excerpt from The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before
But the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, `Lenore!'
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, `Lenore!'
Merely this and nothing more.

It`s raining outside as well as in.
Why do I miss you more sometimes,
So much more when the days are beautiful to me?
So much more when i know,
And you know ...

I miss you today
I miss watching the rain on your face,
and through your eyes.

I love the rain,
but I love you as well .

my nightmare my love, is me, not you

(in the darkness)
(in the water)

I missed you
in a magic dark place
a world where,
fireflies were the air
and danger the entertainment.

Alone in an inmense expanse of salt and water
in this velvet inmensity,
velvet intensity...
animals lurking just beyond my eyes
my reach...
like you
but not really there

I should be scared
more scared
of this than of you,
of me.

only a thought
the shadow of a shadow
the slightest change of movement in the water...
I turn,
and there is nothing.
nothing more,
nothing less,
the memory of you,
as always,
more seductive,
more frightening,
more real,
than any dream,
or any nightmare.

I am
more scared
of what you do to me
than I am of anything else.
Even, I think... of you.
